Trends We Love from LFW SS19
N E O N
The brighter, the better. Spring looks promising and most certainly, fun! The brights are certainly turned up, from Roksanda’s ball gowns in highlighter pink, to House of Holland’s crazy neon vibes and Jasper Conran’s neon shades. There’s pink, yellow, blue green, purple, there’s something for everyone willing to follow the trend.
Mom shorts are back. Longer, with a more relaxed fit, these shorts are perfect from day to night. Think just above the knee length, floral silk and yummy shades. Our fav? Emilia Wickstead’s and Peter Pilotto’s!
You can leave you hat on
The millinery came in all shapes and sizes in London. FromSimone Rocha’s models who walked in wide-brimmed hats featuring embroidered veils covering their faces, toAlexa Chung’s Nineties cool-girl charm with bucket hats. An easy way to accessorise!
Victorian-inspired lace, with see-through details looked amazing at Erdem Moralioglu. Victoria Beckham reinvented the shirt, in a casual, yet sophisticated all-lace version.
Erdem’s blue lace details looked absolutely amazing. I guess we’re gonna love this one!
Orange’s the new black
Forget about millennial pink and yellow, London was all about orange. Alexa Chung’s burnt orange dresses in floral silk look absolutely fabulous, while House of Holland’s bright orange suits with shorts and overisized blazers made us dream about the coolest casual looks to rock for next spring. Roksanda and Preen by Thornton Bregazzi? A dream.
